Google Changes Doodle for Winter Olympics
Posted on February 12, 2010, 7:27 amSource : ARMENIANS.NET
 (0 Rating)

Click to Enlarge! The Google logo appears in front of a stylized drawing of the opening ceremony which — unusually for a themed doodle — stretches right across the screen.

The logo also boasts an Olympic flame in place of the letter "l" and a small print of the Olympic rings.

This is not the first time that the search giant has used its doodle to mark the Olympics. For Beijing 2008 it released a doodle showing the five mascots of the Games carrying an Olympic flag.

The opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics, which are being held in Vancouver, Canada, will take place later today.

The 2010 Winter Olympics will be a big event not only for those men and women competing in Vancouver, but also for Google, who receives huge amounts of extra search traffic during worldwide sporting events.
