Arthur Abraham-Andre Dirrell bout within Super Six World Boxing Classic tournament was rescheduled for March 27. The reason for it was Dirrel’s back injury during the trainings this week.
“King” Arthur Abraham (IBF Middleweight World Champion, 2005-2009) was to face Andre Dirrell in California on March 6. After failing to secure a match up with WBO/WBC/RING champion Kelly Pavlik he announced that he will change his weight class to compete at super middleweight. Abraham is participating in the Super Six World Boxing Classic tournament for the WBA and WBC super middleweight title. In his first match of the tournament he faced Jermain Taylor in October 2009, and defeated him via a devastating knockout in the 12th round. Abraham's next bout will be against Andre Dirrell who recently lost a split decision to Carl Froch for the WBC super middleweight title.
