Starting April 1 gas price inflated
Posted on February 26, 2010, 7:23 amSource : ARMENIANS.NET
 (0 Rating)

Click to Enlarge!Feb. 26, Public Service Coordination committee (PSCC) approved a new gas rate. For the consumers it will make 132AMD per 1m3 instead of current 96AMD, rising up to 37.5%.

For the enterprises, consuming over 10000 m3 a month the rate will be $243.13 per 1000 m3 instead of present $215, increasing by 13%.

Recall that ArmRosgazprom offered to set the rate at 136AMD.

Interestingly, starting April 1, 2010 the price of Russian gas for Armenia rises to $180 per 1000 m3 instead of today’s $154, but for some reason the consumer should pay as much as $360.

Presumably, starting April 1 the electricity rate also increases, and the matter will be discussed in PSCC on March 1, 2010.

Yerevan Jur CJSC also filed the application for rate increase, providing water supply of the country.
