Hatis in Russian Championship?

Armenian basketball team Hatis has received an invitation to participate in the Russian women’s basketball open competition in 2010/2011.

Among the participants will be also leading teams from the former Soviet Union countries such Ukraine and Lithuania.

Should this initiative come true, 8 basketball teams will compete in 2 rounds. Hatis may compete with the Lithuanian TEO Vilnius, the Ukrainian Dynamo (Kyiv) and the 5 other leading Russian teams.

Armenia should recognize Karabakh's independence

In an attempt to counter the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem, which is getting closer on daily basis, Armenia and Karabakh should create their own tandem in the form of a political-military alliance, member of the Supreme Body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Armen Rustamyan told a press conference today.
